Russell Simmons promoting Argyleculture menswear at SouthPark Mall Today.
Russell Simmons, music mogul and fashionpioneer, will be visited Belk at SouthPark Mall today from 2-4 p.m. to showcase the new Argyleculture menswear line.
Russell collaborated with American fashion designer, Joseph Abboud to create a line with the “Urban Graduate” in mind. Argyleculture boasts classic everyday wardrobe elements, along with sportswear and accessories. The ‘argyle’ print and Russell Simmons are synonymous with distinguished style, with an urban twist. Wearing these pieces will exude a tailored, but relaxed look, made to upgrade the style of any man.
Russell came out to public late around 3pm, Once he got to the stage, he stated he was sorry for come out late due to the interviews and he said that he wasn't going anywhere to meet everyone for picture and book signing that he was welcome to. Russell is a soft spoken brother with a big compassion and give he views as a designer and what he learned from other clothing designers. He was open with his thoughts and his new direction with the Argyleculture. Russell stated the style came from those college prep and new wave look. I have to say that Rus is a peaceful dude.
